An amazing spice mix for people who enjoy sesame seeds. I'm not sure what spices are in this mix but it's good enough to eat by itself.There is an earthy, herby background flavor to the mix that is dominated with the taste of toasted sesame seeds with an occasional pop of acidity. I love the taste of sesame seeds so, to me, this immediately elevates it over similar mixes but I also think the acidity is really satisfying.I'm not sure how this spice is supposed to be used but I've lowkey been putting it in or on everything. I usually throw it in at the end of cooking or as a dry topping as my thought is to preserve the crispness of the sesame seeds and I think it's worked out well. I may or may not try it on ice cream the next time I go to the store, we'll see if the intrusive thoughts win.

I ordered and received the BAZARBUL Store's Zaatar Seasoning, 5.3oz. This zaatar spice comes in a foil zipper-resealable pouch. Upon opening the spice the very earthy aroma of the zaatar comes through. I suggest you use a spoon and mix the zaatar thoroughly before using it. I used the zaatar in a bit of a non-traditional way by using it on haddock filets along with some extra virgin olive oil. Then I then roasted the haddock. The zaatar is a chunky spice. When I placed it in my spice sifter the fine grain spices came out and I was left with chunkier bits. To get the full flavor of this spice I had to apply the zaatar by hand so that both the fine and chunkier spices remained mixed. This zaatar has a mild taste. It is fresh spices. I do not like that the list of spices in this zaatar is not listed on the label or on Amazon.
