Generous well sealed bag, tastes great

One spice, multitude of uses. Well sealed, coriander seed with expiration date clearly marked. There are so many uses for whole Coriander. I used for corn beef at St Patrick's date and it turned out really well. Also makes an easy non-caffeinated tea at end of day for digestion. Looks fresh from the farm, with some light some debris in the bag (likely stems) and a some of the seeds were cracked. I always pick my whole spices first anyway.

Great for seasoning

These whole coriander seeds are an nice addition to my kitchen pantry. Theybappear to be good quality as the seeds were aromatic and intact within the resealable bag. I used a spice grinder to grind some up and I tried them to season some steak and also on roasted vegetables to add a clean citrusy flavor. The results seem good and it could be a great way to enhance meals without adding salt, which is good for my families dietary needs. At the current price for a 5.3 oz bag the value is very reasonable for the freshness you get. These will probably last us a good long while. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who likes using coriander looking for pure whole spices.

Good aroma but heavy on the cracked seeds

I bought this bag to use in my pho seasoning ball. When I tried toasting them in a dry pan first, they responded well and became very fragrant right away.Only issue is a lot of the seeds in this 5.3oz bag arrived cracked. My usual brand never had this problem so that was annoying to see right out of the package. The packaging itself is fine. The resealable bag is nice to store back in the pantry.Got a shelf life about 2 years out on the label. This amount will last me a while even with cooking huge pots of soup. Will use it all up but I might hunt for intact seeds next time.

Seed Your Enthusiasm

This 5.3oz bag of whole coriander seeds gives a lot for the price. The resealable bag (which makes pantry storage easy and keeps everything fresh) releases a nice citrusy and warm herbal aroma right when opened. The seeds themselves are completely intact and clean. Since they are so well-dried and consistent in size, they give off a really bright coriander taste.I use them mostly for homemade spice blends, canning, and pickling vegetables. They also work nicely for making coriander tea or seasoning corned beef brisket and biltong. Having extra dhania (or Chinese parsley seeds) around is always helpful when I am cooking vegan meals.

Fresh, Aromatic, and Great Value

These coriander seeds are very fresh and aromatic with a strong, pleasant fragrance. The flavor is great and works well in many different uses like cooking, pickling, spice blends, or even coriander tea. They are very versatile and easy to use in a variety of recipes. I also really like that they came in a resealable bag, which is a very nice bonus because it helps keep the seeds fresh and makes storage convenient. The quality is excellent for the price, and the value is really good for the amount you get. A great product if you use coriander seeds often.

Fresh flavor but poor seal and lots of debris

I could smell the fresh coriander as soon as I opened the box. But that's the problem. The bag was weak and split open. The bag material feels insubstantial, like it just wouldn't hold up, and it didn't. There were coriander seeds leaking out until I moved them all to a jar.So good coriander, frangrant aroma, but inadequate package. The other issue is there is a lot of plant debris mixed in. Stems, buds, leafy bits.

Really good price

My boyfriend really likes this coriander. He says it's peppery. He likes to use it in marinades. I'm unfortunately of the breed that cilantro and coriander tastes like chemicals, so I'm not a great judge of taste. He likes it though! He made coriander chicken thighs with it yesterday. Like used it in his marinade. The bag is large, so he should have it for a long time. You don't need a lot of coriander. I am confused by it saying gluten free but processed in a facility with wheat. It could be gluten free but not safe for wheat allergy. Hard to say. I wish the labeling was clearer. The price is decent for the size of the bag. I see the tiny bottles at the grocery store that are half the price but a quarter of the size.

Coriander: Not Just for Show

Needed coriander for some aloo ghobi. Grabbed these and ground 'em up; it gave the dish a notably strong, flavorful punch, exactly what I was after. Didn't have to use much, since the aroma concentration felt quite decent when I tried it. Used some extra for a quick batch of cucumber pickles, and it gave the vinegar mix a needed bite. Works for cooking and pickling without any fuss. No wasted space here.

Good whole coriander seeds

These whole coriander seeds have a nice strong smell when you open the bag. They really hit you with that sweet and slightly citrusy scent, which is exactly what you want from good coriander.I usually grind them up fresh for curries and stews or for corned beef, and they add a lot of depth to the flavor. You can really taste that warm, earthy spice in the finished dish. I also tried them whole in some pickling brine for cucumbers, and they worked great there too.The bag they come in seals up tight after you open it. That's a good thing because it keeps the seeds fresh and keeps that aroma locked in. You don't want your spices going stale in the cupboard.
